Profile Dr. Götz Kühne

Dr. Kühne worked for about 10 years at a major German bank, where his focus was on Corporate Finance and M&A for medium-sized enterprises. In addition to regional responsibility, he oversaw many transactions in the automotive supply, mechanical engineering, electronics, real-estate and metal industries. Thereafter he directed the Financial Advisory operations of a Frankfurt private bank for two years, while also advising national and international family office clients. As Managing Partner of Motion Capital, he has overall responsibility, especially for the areas of corporate finance, family office services and foundations

Dr. Kühne gained a degree in and also taught business administration at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, with concentrations on financing, auditing & trusteeship and law. He formed his first charitable organization in 1997. For around 15 years he has acted in an advisory capacity for the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft, (German Economic Foundation), holds several foundation mandates and is on the advisory board of several corporations. He is a certified foundation consultant with the Association of German Foundations (Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen) and the German Business Foundation Association (Stifterverband der Deutschen Wirtschaft)
